YES! Roadster 3.2

Fans of small, lightweight roadsters will soon have a new option to consider thanks to boutique German automaker Funke & Will AG, who announced at Chicago that it will be bringing its YES! Roadster 3.2 stateside this summer. The YES! is powered by an Audi-sourced, 3.2-liter V-6 that comes in normally-aspirated (255 horsepower) or turbo (355 horsepower with an optional upgrade to 411 horsepower) configurations. Performance numbers are impressive for the 1962-pound (2050 for the turbo model) car, with Funke & Will claiming a blistering 0-62 mph time of 3.9 seconds and 175 mph top speed for the turbo model. Shifting for the rear drive roadster is handled through a six-speed manual tranny, with a five-speed automatic available for the base car. The YES! also features a double wishbone suspension front and rear and is stopped via ventilated discs with four piston calipers all around. All of this performance won't come cheap, the base car starts at $77,995 and the turbo $97,995, and the option list is long and expensive. But with only 50 of the cars scheduled to come to the U.S. this year, prospective buyers will be getting an exclusive and fairly cool looking drop top to rip around on the track as well as the open road.
