Beijing Auto Show 2008 LIVE: Geely Goes Wild with GT Supercar Concept

200408, Beijing Auto Show. Geely showed it's first supercar to the world today at the Beijing Auto Show, it's called the GT.

A lot has changed, it's not that long ago that Geely made humble little cars for the few Chinese who could afford one and now this monster.

The windows were blinded so it's problably just a mock up but anyway it looks great, no word about engines, no word about production...

Beijing Auto Show 2008 LIVE: Nissan Teana

200408, Beijing Auto Show. Nissan's new China Flaghsip made it's debut on the Beijing Autoshow today. The Teana is Nissan's most expensive 'Made in China' model, it's equipped with Nissan's famous 3.5 liter petrol which is shipped in from Japan to the factory in China.

There was a lot to do about this car before the show, I don't really know why, it seems much more a facelift than a new car, the back has changed most but that's about it. The silver one is the VIP which means is has DVD screens and such sort of things

Beijing Auto Show 2008 LIVE: Hongqi's Monster SUV

200408, Beijing Auto Show. Hongqi debuted it's new Concept SUV today at the Beijing Autoshow. Earlier renderings showed a car that looked more than a bit like the Lincoln MKR concept but in real things are not that bad.

However you might think about the looks, it was certainly an impressive car to stand next too, it is a huge machine from every side. It is meant to compete with cars as the Audi Q7, Porsche Cayenne and Benz GLK. Rumors said it would have a V8 and/or a V12 engine, but nothing was said about that today.
